Koufuku Market

The hot buffet is quite good. We've tried it twice so far and both times the food was good, service was quick and seating available to enjoy the meal. We've also tried some Asian drinks and packaged desserts from the grocery section and liked everything we got. All in all its no-frills but good value for money.

Very wonderful little shop with lots of wonderful snacks and groceries from Japan, China, Korea, and more countries from Asia. The best thing is you can enjoy a good selection of drinks from the Progreso Café right by the entrance (inside) while you browse. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll definitely enjoy your visit here.

New review: I very happy that the owner took the necessary measures to prevent dogs from entering this establishment to maintain health codes. I will continue to buy from this establishment. I rescinded my 1 star. They have a cute cafe inside the grocery store that I recommend. Old review: Why do you let dogs into a store that serves hot food. I wanted to patronize this store but after seeing that dog I’m disgusted. Right next to the hot Chinese food too. 🤢🤮

This review is exclusively about the hot buffet table inside this store. As of September 2025, three dishes over rice or lo mein or rice noodles, costs under $14!!! Huge, generous portions and super delicious to boot. Now I don’t have to go to flushing to get my Chinese food fix!!

New Asian market in the area, looks like they carry a variety of goods, hair / skin care products, and more importantly a variety of Chinese cooking sauces ! No more trips to Flushing. They plan on carrying fresh produce soon as well, great addition to the neighborhood

HUGE portion sizes (my lid wouldn’t say closed). and the food is delicious. AND they include soup!! So glad they’ve cracked down on “service” dogs — y’all aren’t fooling anybody. Between the serving sizes and the dogs, they’re doing it right.
